I don't keep baby books. I just don't. Heck, I haven't printed out pictures of the last four years either. I am bad about that kind of stuff. Jordan had her 4 year check up on Monday and because I don't keep a baby book, I have nowhere to jot down the important stuff. She weighed in at 33.5 lbs and 39 7/8 inches. This is HUGE. Wanna know why? Because, while her weight followed her usual growth curve (25th percentile), her height is in the 50th percentile. My Jordan, who started out in the 10th-15th percentile for everything has actually grown. A lot! To put it into perspective, she was still wearing a 2T last summer, now she is growing out of 4T. Right before her 3 year check up, she hit a little growth spurt that moved her up to the 30th percentile. And she has just kept growing from there. Yay Jordan! I thought that the 4T stuff she was wearing all summer was starting to look a little short. Now I know why. Thank God for The Childrens Place, with their slim fitting clothes and adjustable waists. I don't know that Jordan wouldn't own a pair of pants were it not for TCP.
Now, more good news...we got my pictures! The external hard drive wasn't recoverable, but my old computer was. So now it is all on Scott's laptop and being transferred onto Carbonite.com as we speak. What a relief! First order of business is to get some pics printed off for Jordan's birthmom. She is probably beginning to think I forgot. Then I am printing them off for me.
Now if only we could get the roof on this house replaced and the Honda up and running we would be set. It has been the summer of bad luck for us. Since the van break in, it has been one thing after another. But you know what? We are healthy, in a strong family, with parents who love us and kids who adore us. It can't get much better. Well, I wouldn't mind a million dollars. That would be better for sure :)
