JW is still massive. I have a friend who jokingly said we should call him "Tiny". He was 30.75 inches but wasn't fully stretched out. That would make him only a 1.25 inches taller than Micah, but when they stand next to eachother it is clear he is taller than that. Anyway, that 30.75 put him in the 75th percentile, 1/4 inch more would have put him around the 90th percentile. That is probably more like it. He weighed TWENTY SEVEN POUNDS, ELEVEN OUNCES!!! 96th percentile!!! Should we hire a football coach now?
Micah weighed in at 20 lbs on the nose, and was 29.5 inches (25th percentile and 55th percentile respectively).
Just had to record it in the blog because Lord knows I will forget a week from now.

You Can't Eat That
Over a year ago I found Jordan playing in poop. That was the first and last time I found her playing in poo. I suppose she was scarred by me saying "You didn't eat it, did you? DON'T EVER EAT YOUR POOP!" If you are a mom, you know that would be your first thought. "Crap...did she or didn't she eat the poop?"
Now, over a year later, each and every time she goes poop on the potty she says "You can't eat poop, right? Don't eat poop!" I can bank on her telling me not to eat it. Today I had to laugh as I said, for the gazillionth time "No, we don't eat our poop."
Ahhh, the things we moms say that we never ever thought we would say once, let alone at least once a day.

What You Get For $60
$60 give or take a couple bucks. This is a long list. I had to make note of it because I was so proud of myself. And, it should be recorded that much of this stuff was not on sale nor did I have a coupon for it. They were splurge items :)
4 boxes of lighbulbs
4 bottles of Dawn dishsoap (the hand renewal kind...my fave)
Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner
1 package of Huggies diapers
6 tubs of Huggies wipes (While I am not "green", it does kind of kill me to buy these plastic tubs of wipes. I am going to have to find some use for them. Any ideas?)
bananas
banana nut loaf cookies (Kroger bakery...yum...splurge item for sure)
2 half gallons of Almond milk for the lactose intolerant baby girl
maple syrup
Pepperidge Farm sourdough bread (splurge item for french toast)
3 packages of cornbread mix
6 pack of coke (bottles...splurge item and not cheap but I was in a hurry)
2 gallons of milk (we go through 6 gallons of milk a week between 3 kids)
2 Motts apple juice
2 big bags of Chex Mix
2 bags Sargento shredded cheese
2 blocks Kraft chunk cheese
2 boxes Simply Go-Gurt
1 jar Newman's Own spaghetti sauce
1 jar apple sauce
2 things of Hefty zip lock bags
3 cans mandarine oranges
3 bottles of Powerade (for Scott)
3 Dove deoderant (free! score!)
1 sixteen oz coke and 1 sixteen oz cherry coke at checkout
sooo, that is $1.15 per item. *happy dance*
And because I know someone will ask, yes I had to go to three different stores. But, lucky for me, North Augusta is small which means all the stores are within a mile of eachother. I was done in one hour and 45 minutes.

We Survived One Year!!!
The babies are turning one this month, which means we all survived! I am sure that I have far fewer brain cells than I did a year ago; I am also sure that one year ago I never saw the babies coming. At this very moment I am a bit too tired to go into a long post, but rest assured, the pictures capture the day.

Due to a misunderstanding between me and mom, cake abounded. We ended up with one sheet cake and eighteen cupcakes. I froze a dozen cupcakes, you know, just so I can eat that yummy crisco filled frosting and cupcake whenever my heart pleases. The other 6 have been devoured since Saturday. Yes, in two days all 6 are gone.
Micah ate

and ate

and ate.

The funny thing about those pictures is that Micah is the neatest eater ever. She uses her excellent skills to pick up one tiny piece of food at a time. She puts that one tiny piece of food in her mouth so as to not make a mess. She is a bit of a chipmunk with her food...meaning, she stores it up in her cheeks...for up to 30 min at a time. But that is beside the point. Even with all the storing of food she is rarely messy. She can easily wear the same outfit all day and after eating, she only needs a quick wiping of her hands and mouth. Obviously that went out the window at the sight of cake. She is a girl after my own heart.
Jeremiah, sporting his new big boy haircut, was none too thrilled with the cake. Like Micah, this too is contrary to his normal eating behavior. Usually he goes through 3-4 outfits a day and requires a sponge bath after each meal. He grabs fist fulls of food and slathers it across his face with the hopes of 1/4 of it actually making it into his mouth. The food in his lap at the end of each meal could feed another child. Instead, it feeds the dog. Any frosting that ended up on his face was due to 1) his daddy who thought it would be funny to stick it in his face, and 2) the writhing and squirming he did while in the high chair meant that his hands and arms would of course brush up against the mounds of frosting on his plate. He wasn't having any of it!

Somewhere in there I hear "Mom, take a picture of me eating cake!"

And, just for laughs, Micah's final picture of the day. Someone at the party actually asked me if I was aware that Micah was combing her hair with cake. It was that bad.

Just in case you need a closer look at the mess:

The Power of Ambien
My doctor prescribed Ambien as an attempt to make my chronic pain go away. He thought maybe if I got more sleep it would make me feel better. Well, the pain is obviously still here. BUT, I am so well rested! I love the stuff! I love it so much that I am going to call and see if I can get some more. I fall asleep quickly and wake feeling rested, not groggy. All the other OTC things made me so groggy the next day. Anyway, totally beside the point. Remember a couple years ago when there was a lawsuit against Ambien because people were driving in their sleep? Well, I totally do not remember writing that post last night haha! I guess that isn't completely true. I remember it; I just thought it was a dream. I had to come on and check to see if it was a ficticious memory or not :) At least I didn't start admitting to really embarrassing stuff...stuff like taking Ambien and not remember what I did the next day. oops!
On another note, I have been married TEN years today. TEN! Is it possible? It seems it is. I look forward to better years down the road. See, no matter how good or bad it is, when Christ is in the middle of a marriage you know it can only get better. Love you babe!

Blogging
This is how weird blogging is: it is so weird to put thoughts out into cyberspace for who knows who to read, and I miss it dearly. Those who don't blog will never understand this strang addiction to transparency that us bloggers have. Maybe it is all the "be transparent" speaches I got while growing up spiritually in Campus Outreach. But for whatever reason, to go several days without making my sins known to the internet world, or going several weeks without posting pictures of the cutest kids in the neighborhood, or going several weeks without telling you of the obnoxiousness of Scott's snore, well, whatever it is, I miss it. We just upgraded our internet so hopefully soon I can post the last 2 months worth of pictures. But until then, take this one picture. IT is SOOTC (straight out of the camera), which means it hasn't been photoshopped. My computer died a sudden death this week, but not before Scott in his awesome timing transfered all of my pics to an external hard drive. thanks, babe! i would have been up a creek without those pics. Anyway, i did happen to load a few on his computer to surprise him. But surprise, he never found them haha! He doesn't have photoshop so these have some color issues, but i like them anyway. you must know, it is killing me to post this without fixing color. oh well.
micah has discovered shoes. generally she will keep them on her feet now. She wants to wear other people's shoes too, or she wants to use them to hide things in. Shoes are her new friend. This is also a very nice shot of her funny bald spots. They make us giggle at home.

Jordan has grown up all of a sudden, yet there are times when I look at her and I see a little girl. I love that I can have full on conversations with her now. i pray daily that she would love God's word.

JW is all boy and big one at that, who is wearing a size 24 month or 2T! It is insane how quickly a boy becomes a boy and a girl becomes a girl. jw doesn't hesitate to full on tackle Micah if she has something he wants. he likes to sit on the couch and bang his head against the cushions over and over and over. At the same time, he wants his mama. He is so sweet and has the most expressive face. He may only have one word to his vocab right now (uh-oh) but his face tells you all he is thinking. He will play with the doorstopper till the cows come home. He also really loves to play the drums on the oven in our living room. But that is a whole other post.

Pigs are FLYING?
Hell froze over? There is something strange going on in this world. I don't know what it is. Maybe a full moon? Who knows. Becky hasn't blogged in two days http://kicklighters.blogspot.com/
While I am here, can someone help me out? How do I make a link show up in blue as a word? Like, instead of the link to Becky's blog how do I just make it say "Becky" as the link itself? My hubby, God bless him, is completely unwilling to show me how to do this. For some reason he says he doesn't know how (which I believe) but he won't figure it out. I am sure it will take him two seconds. It would, however, take me a year. So I turn to you my friends :)

Cha-Cha-Changes
I wnat to enter the full force world of blogging again, but alas, I can't. Scott got us the cheapest internet offered and well, it stinks. I can't upload pictures! But I can write out all the changes in our lives over the last month. Super stuff has happened, in fact. The babies are now walking full time, eating table food, and off formula! Can I get a "WooooooHooooooo!" No more $15 cans of formula! JW can eat at any one sitting more than Jordan can. Breakfast easily consists of cheerios, yogurt, and a bottle of milk. Lunch is eggs or some kind of lunch meat, cheese, peas or carrots, or now that spring is here a fresh fruit. The boy can eat. And when I can load pics again you will see. The big boy is HUGE! He is wearing 24 month/2T exclusively. He stands next to Micah and simply dwarfs her. She isn't much more than a couple inches shorter, but she is just smaller. She is average; he is far from it.
JW also got his first big boy haircut this week. It was hard on us all LOL! He was scared so I had to hold him down with all the strength I had so Scott could to his head. It was so hard to let him scream and scream, but it was either that or he would go a few days with some seriously sketchy hair. But it did eventually get done and man is he cute! He doesn't look like an 11 month old anymore. He looks like a 2 year old :( Speaking of hair, the other day in the mall I saw a boy with a gun and bullet carved into his hair. Two questions: Where is his mom and why does she let him shave a gun into his head? Then I wonder how long this poor kid will live. He didn't look to be older than 13 but is obviously involved in a gang. AS we all know, gangs lead to nowhere. You go to jail or die. That is the only way you can get out of a gang. Poor kid. He has made some very bad decisions that his mom needs to be concerned about but obviously isn't. If that were JW we would hold him down once again and shave him bald as a que ball to get that gun off his head.
The babies fight like brother and sister now. Now it is cute. In a month it won't be. I recently used the phrase "IF you can't share then you can't play with it at all." JW uses his size to get what he wants; Micah uses her teeth and bites. While JW was losing all his hair, Micah was watching and longing for hair implants haha! She is still bald. But let me tell you, she has the sweetest spirit. Of all of my kids, she is just the sweetest. She loves to be cuddled, but isn't necessarily a clingy kid. She actually listens and obeys pretty much right away. She smiles easily, dances to music, has learned to twirl around in circles, and stuffs her face full of food where she then stores it for up to an hour before swallowing.
JW has become quite the stubborn mule so to say. Jordan will dig my grave; JW will throw me in. THey are so strong willed. JW has to be told no 20 times, removed from the object, then told no 20 more times because he just went right back to said removed object. He is so much like Jordan it is scarey. It is also the reason I am D.O.N.E. with kids. I can't risk another strong-willed kid. I think that might just do me in.
I am about to fall asleep. But before I do I must confess something. It is a bit geeky. I miss cable for one reason: the weather channel. I love knowing where towns are being destroyed by tornados. No I don't love the destruction, but something in me loves to see the pictures of damage and such. Maybe it is because I was in a few as a kid so now I am totally obsessed with tornados. Tornado season is my favorite time of year and I don't even have the weather channel. I think I might be willing to pay the money for it.
