God Answers Prayer

As if I needed yet another small reminder of my Heavenly Father's care, he answers another prayer. Twitch (our big and old very dog) had a tumor on his ear. I took him to the vet a month or so ago and the doc said it was a classic tumor of which I cannot remember the name. He gave us a round of antibiotics just in case it was an infection, but said in a dog his age it is more than likely cancer. He didn't see any reason why it wouldn't be but thought he'd give meds a try just in case. I gave him meds and it shrank some, but not all the way. I scheduled surgery for Valentines Day and said a quick prayer for healing. Money is tight (isn't it always???) so I prayed he wouldn't need the surgery because I knew we couldn't pay for it. I also knew that the surgery would result in many dog fights between Twitch and Molly. Molly is super playful and always tugging at his ears. She drives Twitch crazy. While Twitch is pretty patient with Molly Dog (for the most part), I didn't see him putting up with her shenanigans after having part of his ear chopped off. I wasn't looking forward to breaking up fights. Let's face it, I do enough of that already, right? So today Scott and I were discussing it and I just decided to check his ears. To my surprise the tumor is GONE. GONE!!!! He ended the antibiotics a week ago. If anything it should have gotten bigger since then. Nope, gone. Thank you God, for answering even my quickie off the cuff prayers :)
